APPLICATION REVIEW
PFA coating systems melt and flow during processing to form nonporous films. Semiconductor and other high-purity projects require a defined grade and qualification criteria; the resin name alone does not establish finished-part purity.
Supply chemical exposure, cleaning procedures, contamination limits and coating acceptance criteria. ACS confirms the system and processing scope before quotation.
Identify any existing coating to remove, substrate damage, masked features and the required completion date. Inspection and processing commitments are confirmed for the job.
Provide dimensions, quantity, substrate, current coating and condition, required PFA system, thickness, chemical exposure and inspection criteria. Photographs and drawings help define stripping, repair and masking requirements.
Send the drawing, substrate, dimensions, quantity, coating product, required thickness, masked areas, service conditions, inspection requirements and deadline. Identify any existing finish that needs removal.
