ACS applies industrial Kynar PVDF coating systems to parts with defined chemical-protection and coating requirements. The product grade and application specification establish the scope; the Kynar name alone does not identify every processing requirement.
Include the process chemicals, concentration, temperature and exposure conditions. State the required PVDF grade or coating product so ACS can review the material and application against the service environment.
Identify internal and external coated areas, sealing faces, threads and close-tolerance features. Include film thickness and acceptance criteria, with inspection records and spark testing specified where required.

APPLICATION REVIEW
PVDF can offer resistance to many acids and process chemicals. Strong alkalis, temperature and mixtures require particular attention. Coating performance is influenced by adhesion and permeability as well as the resin grade.
For PVDF pipe lining inquiries, include concentration, operating and upset temperatures, pressure/vacuum and internal coating access.
Identify any existing coating to remove, substrate damage, masked features and the required completion date. Inspection and processing commitments are confirmed for the job.
